The final element of R.O.A.D, deliverability, may not be about employing sophisticated techniques to the email programme but without full attention it renders all your efforts useless.

Getting into the inbox is not as difficult as many ESP’s would leave you to believe. As long as the basics in best practice of sending large quantities of email are observed, the list is clean and spam complaints minimised there is no reason why 99% of your emails do not get delivered into the inbox.

Those that have problems in achieving this generally send to questionable data (such as rented 3rd party lists) or share a email server with someone that has these questionable practices.
